Festival Information

Where is the festival located?

Hidden City Music Festival takes place at:

Columbia Historic Speedway
2001 Charleston Hwy
Cayce, SC 29033

Artist set times will be released closer to the festival date.

Set times will be posted on the Hidden City website and social media channels.

Hidden City is 100% CASHLESS.

There will be NO CASH accepted anywhere on the festival grounds. No exceptions.

Please bring debit cards, credit cards, or other cashless payment methods.

Yes. Hidden City is a Rain or Shine event and will only be canceled in the event of severe weather or extenuating circumstances

No. There is no re-entry. so please prepare accordingly.

Hidden City is 18+.

All attendees must present a valid government-issued photo ID to enter.

Accepted forms of ID include:

  • Government-issued passport
    • U.S. or Canadian driver’s license
    • Military ID with photo
    • Government-issued identification card with photo

Expired IDs, school IDs, copies of IDs, or other documents will not be accepted.

Must be 21+ to use tobacco products or consume alcohol or cannabis related products

All tickets must be purchased online through the official ticketing platform.

Tickets can also be purchased online while at the festival grounds if still available.

There will be a box office with a limited number of single day tickets. No cash accepted!

No. All sales are final. Hidden City is a rain or shine event.

Allowed / Prohibited Items

What items am I allowed to bring into the festival?

Allowed items include:

  • Sealed Gum (must remain in wrapper)
  • Hand sanitizer up to 2oz (sealed upon entry)
  • Lip balm, lip gloss, lipstick (sealed upon entry)
  • Eye drops (sealed upon entry)
    • Personal misting fans with empty bottle (max 1.5L)
  • Physician-prescribed medication in original packaging with matching ID
  • Sealed over-the-counter medication
  • Flags and totems without hard poles and no corporate branding (see Totem Policy)
  • Inflatables (must be deflated upon entry)
  • Glow or illuminated costumes/jewelry
  • Hula hoops (including LED hoops)
  • Other LED flow toys like poi, gloves, orbits (no fire).
  • Hats, sunglasses, ponchos, raincoats
  • Blankets
  • Air sofas that pack into a small bag
  • Powder makeup (liquid makeup prohibited)
  • Reusable water bottles (empty upon entry)
  • Sealed intranasal naloxone (a.k.a. Narcan)
  • Sunscreen lotion (sealed upon entry) (aerosol not allowed)
  • Tampons or pads (sealed upon entry)
  • Wet wipes (sealed upon entry)
  • Non-professional cameras and handheld devices under 6 inches diameter

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals
• Weapons of any kind (including concealed weapons)
• Firearms, knives, pepper spray, stun guns
• Glass, cans, cups, or coolers
• Outside food or beverages (including alcohol or candy)
• Professional cameras, detachable lenses, tripods
• Drones or unmanned aircraft
• Aerosol cans of any kind or spray paint
• Laser pointers
• Hoverboards
• Gas masks
• Liquid makeup
• Large chains or spiked jewelry
• Stuffed animals or dolls
• Toy guns, water guns, slingshots
• Filled balloons
• Selfie sticks
• Camera bags
• Folding chairs, lawn chairs, seat cushions with backs
• Tents or camping gear
• Frisbees or sports balls
• Air horns or whistles

  • Pets (except legally certified service animals)
    • Red light-up batons, wands, or lightsabers
    • Costumes resembling police, SWAT, fire, security, or other public safety uniforms

Any item deemed dangerous by event staff may be denied entry.

 

The venue is a smoke-free facility.

  • Vapes or electronic smoking devices (must be empty upon entry)
    • One sealed bottle of e-liquid or e-juice
    • One sealed Juul pod
    • Chewing tobacco (sealed upon entry)
Not Allowed
  • Cigarettes
    • Cigars
    • Any similar smoking products

These items will be confiscated at entry.

Totems are allowed if they follow these guidelines:

  • Maximum height: 10 feet
    • Must be made from lightweight materials (foam, PVC, etc.)
    No solid metal
    • PVC, aluminum, or light wood poles must be under 1 inch diameter
    • Telescoping camera poles are allowed if lightweight
    • Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated at entry
    • Pool noodles are recommended for easy entry through security

Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech are prohibited.

Any item deemed unsafe will not be allowed.

Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited, including in parking areas.

Anyone found with a weapon will be removed from the festival immediately.

Parking & Arrival

Where do I park?

Festival parking must be purchased in advance through the ticketing website.

Purchase Parking Passes HERE! They are sold as an add-on during ticket checkout.

Parking is limited and sold separately from festival admission.

Each vehicle must have its own parking pass.

Parking is not included. Parking passes are sold as an add-on during ticket checkout, and we strongly recommend purchasing parking at the same time as your ticket.

Please DO NOT walk to the festival for your own safety.

Walking along the highway to access the festival grounds is extremely unsafe and strongly discouraged.

Tailgating is not permitted in parking areas.
Cayce Police have warned that they will be patrolling for tailgaters.

Bag Policy & Hydration

What Bags are allowed?

Hidden City has a Clear Bag Policy, with limited exceptions.

Allowed Bags
  • Clear bags no larger than 14” x 6” x 14”
  • Non-clear hydration packs with no more than two zippers. No entry permitted with liquid. Free water refill is offered inside the venue.
  • Non-clear small fanny packs or purses with zippers no larger than 6″ x 9″ – approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap 
  • Non-clear plush bags no larger than 6” x 9”

 

All bags must be no larger than 14″ x 6″ x 14″.

No backpacks larger than a standard hydration pack are allowed.

All bags are subject to search upon entry.

Hydration packs are allowed with the following requirements:

  • Must have no more than two zippers
    • Must be empty upon entry
    • Designed primarily for hydration

We strongly encourage guests to stay hydrated.

Free water refill stations will be available throughout the festival.

Reusable water bottles are allowed but must be:

  • Empty upon entry

Amenities & Guest Services

Will food be available at the festival?

Food vendors will be available throughout the festival.

No outside food will be allowed into festival grounds

We strive to ensure that at least one food truck offers a vegan and gluten free meal option.

If you have questions during the event, you can ask any festival staff member or employee for assistance.

If you cannot find someone please visit the merch tent with questions!

No. Unfortunately, we are un able to provide lockers.

Lost items that are turned in during the festival will be held by staff at the merch tent.

After the festival, a Lost & Found claim form will be posted online for guests to submit requests.

Accessibility (ADA)

Does Hidden City provide accessibility accommodations?
